ART DOCENTS | Wailuku, Maui
Hawai‘i Contemporary relies upon knowledgeable docents who are passionate about contemporary art to be ambassadors of the Hawai‘i Triennial. Docents’ engagement with the artwork and connection with audiences are integral to the success of the Triennial. We are seeking docents on Maui to work during HT25 at Hale Hō‘ike‘ike at the Bailey House.
Requirements: Available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am–2pm. Docent training sessions will be confirmed upon hire. Compensation: $25/hour

VOLUNTEERS
Hawai‘i Contemporary relies upon enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to be ambassadors of Hawai‘i Triennial and champions for the visual arts. Their generosity of time and their focused energies are integral to the success of the organization and the work we do. They create positive experiences for our community and for visitors to the Triennial, helping guests to engage with the art in meaningful ways.
We are currently accepting volunteering sign-ups for Hawai‘i Triennial 2025 (15 FEB – 04 MAY) on O‘ahu. Roles include art installation, exhibition attendant, education docent, and events volunteers.
