Hawaiʻi Contemporary Art Summit
February 10–13, 2021
The inaugural Hawaiʻi Contemporary Art Summit 2021 was a multi-day event that brought together renowned keynote speakers, artists, curators, and thinkers from Hawai‘i and around the world for educational programming focused on art and ideas. A thematic precursor to the Hawai‘i Triennial 2022 (HT22), Art Summit 2021 was a series of insightful and compelling talks, performances, film screenings, and workshops that situates Hawai‘i at the center of high-caliber, global discourse around contemporary art and ideas to local and international audiences.
This multi-series, virtual event premiered online and was available to registered viewers for on-demand viewing through February 28, 2021. Mahalo to the 3400+ registrants who joined us from over 71 countries during our inaugural Art Summit. To read a post-Art Summit recap report, click here.
