Kupesi Peau Ongo
15 Feb 2025
A communal digital sound tapestry, Kupesi Peau Ongo was a participatory, sound wave workshop led by visiting HT25 artist Sione Faletau. In this public program, Sione shared about his art practice before participants went on a sound walk to get in tune with ongo (sound, resonance, feeling) and recorded sounds. Sione then generated kupesi (patterns) from the audio.
Sione’s work is on view at Bishop Museum and HT25 HUB.
