SITES OF LEARNING
The contemporary artwork in Hawai‘i Triennial 2025 (HT25) and its timeless theme, ALOHA NŌ, offer educators and students visual points of departure for inquiry, deeper learning, and visual literacy. The in-person exploration of art installations engage students in new ways, reinforcing existing curriculum and sparking curiosity and wonder in young minds.
If you’re an educator who would like to incorporate HT25 into your lesson plans in fall 2025, please feel free to contact us to discuss how we might help. Email Rosina Potter at rosina@hawaiicontemporary.org.

HT25 EDUCATIONAL ENGAGEMENTS
We hosted DreamHouse 'Ewa Arts & Culture Club at Foster Botanical Garden, where they learned about Jrai traditional music of the Central Highlands of Vietnam. Visiting HT25 artist R Cham Tih led students in this interactive, hands-on (sound-on) workshop.

YAS Fest
at East Hawai‘i Cultural Center
We were thrilled to join the inaugural YAS Fest, a vibrant celebration of youth arts on Hawai‘i Island! The festival brought together local organizations dedicated to providing arts opportunities for keiki and teens, while also recognizing young artists in the community.
