14TH ANNUAL ART AT THE CAPITOL
Join us at the 14th Annual Art at the Capitol in Honolulu on April 14, 2023. Wander through legislative offices and explore the Art in Public Places (AAP) program collection at the Hawai‘i State Capitol Building. Show your support for government-supported arts programs and funding. And be sure to listen in on our Art in Conversation on contemporary art in society. The panel will feature our HT25 curators Wassan Al-Khudhairi (independent curator), Binna Choi (director at Casco Art Institute in Utrecht), and Noelle M.K.Y. Kahanu (independent curator and faculty at University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa); along with Nina Tonga (HB19 curator and curator of contemporary art at Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa); Josh Tengan (HB19 assistant curator and associate director at Hawai‘i Contemporary); and Rep. Sonny Ganaden.
