Art in Conversation • Ed Greevy with Noe Tanigawa

SAT • JULY 16 • 2pm
Hawai‘i State Art Museum (HiSAM)
250 South Hotel St., Second Floor
Turnaround Gallery, Diamond Head side
Free to the public.

Photographer and Hawai‘i Triennial 2022 (HT22) artist Ed Greevy talks about his work with journalist Noe Tanigawa. They’ll discuss his collaborations with the late Haunani-Kay Trask, who was a prominent voice in environmental and social justice movements in Hawai‘i. Greevy and Trask worked together for decades, documenting and shaping a narrative of resistance that was published in the book Kū‘ē: Thirty Years of Land Struggles in Hawai‘i in 2004—selections from which appear in HT22 and are on view at Hawai‘i State Art Museum, now through Dec. 3, 2022.

Sponsored by Engaging the Senses Foundation. This program is part of Super Saturday at Hawai‘i State Art Museum.
