Marion Cadora

Marion Cadora has engaged as a curator and educator in the museum field working at the intersection of art history, education, collection care and critical curatorial practice. She develops innovative programs that present artist-driven projects with the objective of enhancing art education and cross-disciplinary exchange. Marion has held positions in various art organizations and universities in San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Honolulu. Currently she is the Curator of Collections for the City and County of Honolulu, a lecturer in museum and visual studies at University of Hawai’i, and a PhD candidate in Visual Studies at UC Santa Cruz. Her PhD research traces the history of government funded public art and settler colonial histories in Hawai‘i starting in the Territorial period to the present.
