‘Ihilani Lasconia is a Kanaka ʻŌiwi student, artist, and organizer from Waimānalo Oʻahu. As an activist and transnational feminist, her community work is centered on deoccupying Hawai‘i and building solidarity. ʻIhilani is currently a doctoral student in Indigenous Politics at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Her research focuses on historical and contemporary connections between Hawaiʻi and Palestine. As an artist, her work generates from their experience of being queer and native in the 21st century.
